Marine Applications

NIOZ

The RV Wim Wolff is a compact but highly capable coastal research vessel, optimized for shallow-water operations. Its 5-ton A-frame serves as the primary heavy-duty lifting system, while the deck cranes (up to ~1.5 tons) and 2.5-ton J-frame provide flexibility for a wide range of scientific tasks. Together, these systems make the vessel especially effective for sampling, instrument deployment, and fieldwork in dynamic coastal and tidal environments.
